Refund Policy
How refunds and cancellations work.
Mooring is offered by TLA LLC, doing business as Plateau Lane Studios. We want you to be glad you subscribed. If Mooring isn't working out, here's how refunds and cancellations work.
Who Processes Payments
Payments and refunds are handled by our payment partner Paddle, who is the merchant of record for Mooring. That means Paddle processes your payment, handles sales tax / VAT, and issues any refunds back to your original payment method.
Money-Back Window
If Mooring isn't right for you, just ask for a full refund within 14 days of your first payment. The 14 days is the window to make the request — once you've asked, how long the money takes to land back in your account depends on your bank or card issuer, which we can't control. We won't make the asking difficult.
Monthly Renewals
Mooring is a monthly subscription. You can cancel at any time, and your subscription simply won't renew for the following month. We don't typically refund a month that's already begun, but if something went wrong — an accidental renewal, a charge you didn't expect — reach out and we'll make it right.
Onboarding & Custom Setup
The $249 tier includes onboarding and custom-setup work. Once that work has actually been delivered, it isn't refundable, since it's time we've already spent for you. The subscription itself still follows the money-back window above.
How To Request A Refund
The quickest way is to reach us through our contact page, using the email address you used to subscribe. You can also use the receipt Paddle sent you, which links to their refund request flow. Refunds are returned to your original payment method; how long it takes to appear depends on your bank or card issuer.
Changes To This Policy
Because Mooring is pre-launch, this policy will change as the product matures. We'll update this page and the "last updated" date when it does.
